About CathARTic

The Mission of CathARTic Art and Film Events is to faciliate the development of new venues in the arts and film industry; through Experiential Learning, Hands-on Mentoring, and International Access and Deployment of Emerging Talent, while contributing to local and national charities.

Masters Circle Forums

CathARTic will host a series of public forums with professions in the motion picture and arts industries, including actor, writers, directors, special effects designers, sculptors, illustrators and more.

Future Auteur Competition

CathARTic will sponsor a short film contest for unsigned filmmakers to create pieces in a particular style, such as horror, noir, western and more. Cash prizes or scholarships will be available for the winners.

Art Exhibits

CathARTic also curates themed group and individual art shows during the course of the year that celebrate a certain genre or art style.

Event Proceeds

A portion of all net proceeds for every CathARTic event will be amicably split between a Wichita-based charity of our choice, and the charity of choice of each event's guest(s). The selected local charity for FRIDAY NIGHTMARES is the Wichita Film Festivals, Inc.
